Long distance courses
Our long distance
courses consist of self study written and audio-visual materials. They are
designed for the students who cannot attend classes because of the distance of
the place they live or because of problems in time management. The student has
access to the course hand-outs and the teaching process is done through
pre-recorded classes on VCDs or DVDs. As for the speaking classes the student
has the opportunity to have conversations with our staff in two ways: on the
phone or on line. Each student has 45 minutes of speaking time per week, for
which he/she should book in advance. As for the assignments, the student returns
his assignments to us by post three times in each level of the course in order
to be corrected and assessed. The spots for sending the assignments are
determined in the course material. The timing of the course is up to the
student. The student must also take on line exams at the same three points
he/she sends their assignment for assessment. For those who take our long
distance courses, there is also the possibility of using our online forum on the
website for an extra fee. They can discuss their problems with
other students or ask our staff.
